Ever seen an Aerial Atom? They are really amazing cars. Here are a couple of pics... note how you can see completely through the side of the car! This example was at seen at Pacific Raceways on June 18.

You can find more info on the Atom here

The Alfa club hosted an evening event at Pacific Raceways on June 18. The weather was great, although there were LOTS of cars so congestion on the track was a bit of an issue.

There was a portable dyno at the event, and all the muscle car guys couldn't wait to get their big iron tested. There was this very nice Lotus Esprit going for a dyno run as well:

Here's a couple of laps at Bremerton... the tarmac is really bumpy, and as you'll see the track is really like a fast autocross with all the coned corners:

Had a pretty interesting track day at Bremerton Motorsports Park on May 23. Bremerton is basically an old airfield, and as a result for lapping days the track is "created." Good news is that if you miss a corner all you do is kill a cone... bad news is that it isn't terribly interesting.

The Alfa club is a great group to run with (think "Dolce Vita" as opposed to the "Teutonic" leanings of the Porsche club). Since there aren't that many Alfa's around, there are always a really good variety of cars at their events.

The day was pretty wet in the morning, but cleared up quite nicely in the afternoon.

Here's a look at some of the cars that were plying the asphalt:

Pacific Raceways is a great track in Kent, Washington. Here is a vid of a couple of laps in my car:

Here's what the car looked like stock, at its first track day:

And here's an "after" shot after all the mods with the pile of removed parts:
